About Us
Part of independent charity, Autism Anglia, Doucecroft School is a specialist school for children aged 3 to 19 who have autism and other complex needs.
Founded in 1977, we have lots of experience helping learners with different strengths and needs.
We provide a caring and safe place where learners can learn, grow, and build confidence to become more independent.
Learners at Doucecroft come to school during the day and live in many areas across East Anglia and the London boroughs.
Our School
Our school prepares learners for adult life by helping them develop the skills needed to lead happy and independent lives.
The lessons we teach are broad and balanced, meaning they cover lots of different subjects.
They are also personalised to meet each learner’s needs.
Our Values and Ethos
We pride ourselves on nurturing a robust ethos that is centred around preparing our students for adult life and empowering them to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
