Important Information for Learners and Parents/Carers
At Doucecroft School, here are the times when students are expected to be at school:
- Monday: 10:30am to 3:00 pm (Suffolk Students) / 10:30am to 3:15pm (Essex Students)
- Tuesday to Thursday: 8:45am to 3:00pm (Suffolk Students) / 8:45am to 3:15pm (Essex Students)
- Friday: 8:45am to 2:45pm (Suffolk Students) / 8:45am to 3:00 pm (Essex Students)
SPRING TERM: Monday 6th January 2025 – Friday 4th April 2025
Half Term: 17th February – 21st February
Non-Pupil Days: – 13th, 14th February and 4th April
SUMMER TERM: Tuesday 22nd April 2025 – Tuesday 22nd July 2025
Half Term: 26th May – 30th May
May Bank Holiday: 5th May
Non-Pupil Days: 2nd June
Reporting Absence If your child is absent, you must tell the school by 8:45 am on the first day and each day after. You can call 01206 771234, extension 1, to leave a message, speak to the office staff, or email dcatattendance@autism-anglia.org.uk

Travel to and from Doucecroft School is arranged by your local council’s transport department. Information regarding transport is available here –
Learners aged from 16 to 19 years old may be eligible for a bursary from the government.
